Chicken factory site

In February 2011 Mendip District Council granted the following planning permission (2010/0493) in relation to the site of the former chicken processing factory at Town End, Norton St Philip:

Erection of 51 dwellings (including affordable and sheltered), shop, 3 commercial units and associated access, parking and landscaping.

A Section 106 Agreement accompanies the permission.

The parish council understands that the site is currently on the market.
